How to Use Xhorse FCA 12+8 Universal Adapter:

You are supposed to see this message when scanning a for Chrysler with the Security Gateway Module(SGW): Device is unable to communicate with the control unit. No worries, please follow the steps below to quickly solve this problem.
Step One: Locate and unplug the 12pin and 8PIN connectors of the SGW module.
Step Two: Connect the FCA 12+8 directly to the 12pin and 8pin connectors(two connectors that are connected to the SGW) on the car.
Then the normal communication function with the vehicle can be achieved.
The position of the SGM varies, but it is often located in the side kick panel, passenger side near the glove box, or behind the radio.
